  We looked for the “perfect” manhole take-off and drawing program for more than 10 years. We looked at nearly all the programs on the market but stayed with Auto CAD because we didn’t feel there was a program that met enough criteria for us to invest in. When we met you and Tom at MCPX two years ago we felt we found the program, which would meet our expectations. We have been using MH Pro for about a year and it has exceeded our expectations.
We were impressed with the appearance of the Shop Drawings and Submittals, and they have created positive remarks from our Design and Consulting Engineers, as well as our in-house production people, who have asked why we didn’t go to this program sooner.

  Our users like MH Pro because it is much faster than CAD and FBE has great Customer Service and problem solving support. MH Pro is also easy to learn and we have successfully cross-trained several employees eliminating the problem of not having coverage during vacations, etc. Our Shipping department likes the documentation MH Pro produces. These documents enable us to load quicker and invoice more accurately, which helps our bottom line. I believe MH Pro has improved the morale of the staff because they can do more in a shorter period of time, the work is more accurate and the information from the program is easy to interpret.

  We began 6 years ago with FBE with just an idea of what a computer takeoff program should do, and I think what we have now with MH Pro! is a state of the art takeoff program that is the best in the industry.

It gives us a customer drawing that job superintendents use to put the structures together.  What we have found is that our customers will load these drawings into a laptop and use this on the job to track their job and make comments as they proceed.

On the production side of the program we get a drawing that is easy to read and follow for our production people.  It has added to the accuracy of our takeoffs and reduced problems in the production process. The program also is very easy to make changes to as far as revisions to jobs and additions to jobs, and we also track our pipe and apron tallies and this gives us more accurate data about our projects.

A significant added benefit is we save time doing takeoffs and production drawings – enough so, that even with our solid growth we did not need to add takeoff staff as we would otherwise have had to do.

It has been a pleasure to work with all of the people from FBE involved with the process of producing this program.  We at County Materials Corporation look forward to working with FBE in the future to make MH Pro! even more helpful to us.

  We have been using MHPro! for several months and are extremely pleased with the program.  Alaska has different needs than those seen in the lower 48.  When FBE has been contacted to see if these needs can be met, the staff is more than happy to provide us with what we need to produce structures to meet the customer needs.  We are now able to produce professional submittals to our customers for approval.  When our customers have come to the office to review the submittals, many have seen the changes if any on the computer prior to printing, they are extremely impressed.  Our precast staff is able to produce structures easier with fewer errors than in previous years.

  MH PRO is a great system.  The software has actually saved us money with the ability to draw manholes faster and with fewer mistakes.  The drawings always look professional and do a wonderful job of presenting the manhole information to the consultant, contractor, and production floor.  FBE has been very accommodating on every front; it is incredible that they have the design flexibility that they do.  There has never been a challenge presented to them that they were not able to overcome.  FBE is a group of true professionals who work with the precaster to make sure that their needs are being met.

   I wanted to inform your company on how well your product MH Pro is working for our company. First, let me tell you that I was looking at another software company that has been in the precast concrete industry for a decade. I saw your product at the MCPX 2005 show and was very impressed with it. Well, as you can see we chose your software and absolutely love it. The biggest selling point you have over the other competitor is that your engineers custom fabricate the software to the client’s needs. From my point of view, to enter data into something I probably wouldn’t understand sounded like a nightmare that I didn’t want to attempt.
  As far as MH Pro’s staff on tackling the information required, the order in which it was requested and your prompt service were both on key. Someone is always there to answer the phone and able to help me when needed.
  The quality of the drawings and layout of the various types for reports are sharp, professional and include all information needed. Our customers have even made remarks on our submittal drawings. I have been using this software for three months now and it makes my job faster and easier. A word of advice to a new MH Pro customer; stay on your task to get the information needed to build your software. The sooner you can get your software back and able to use, the more time you will save! We plan on building 500 manholes this year and to think to have to draw those by hand, I can’t imagine doing that. MH Pro is a wise investment for us and we have no regrets. I am excited on getting more updates in the future.
