John Kernstock

John Kernstock supports the manufacturing and delivery products that FBE provides to the precast producers that use MH Pro! EZ. He attended the University of Michigan and following Peace Corps service graduated from Central Michigan University with a BS in Chemistry.

John comes to FBE with 35 years of experience in Technical Service in the chemical industry. He is the principle author of 3 of his 6 patents.

For Dow Reichhold Specialty Latex in North Carolina (2000 to 2005), John supported latex manufacturing and use in fiber, textile, construction, adhesives and technical paper markets.

In Michigan and Georgia for Dow Chemical (1981 to 2000), he worked with the carpet industry developing high performance and specialty backing systems.

In Michigan for Dow Chemical (1971 to 1980) John worked with water soluble polymers used in the construction, coatings, oil well drilling fluids, PVC polymerization and cosmetics markets.

John also consults independently of FBE for non-precast applications within his areas of expertise and provides FBE’s customers with latex and fiber consulting at very reasonable rates.
